This is an aftercare program for persons who have successfully completed the intensive outpatient program or who have completed an intensive phase of treatment at another program. The standard continuing care program is a minimum of 26 weeks and is available during either day or evening hours at our office in Arlington, Washington.
Group members:
- Evaluate their satisfaction with relationships in their life
- Learn tips for organizing five areas of their life (stress, nutrition, sleep habits, nutrition, physical activity, and finances)
- Explore the role feelings play in problem behaviors and explore the link between thoughts, feelings and behaviors and consider proven strategies to help them handle difficult feelings
- Identify and take steps to implement core skills to rely on to help make and maintain positive life changes
- Review the strengths of Twelve-Step Programs and understand how such a program can build a solid foundation for recovery
